The Village of Fort Plain has won the 2019 Montgomery County Water Taste Test sponsored by
the Montgomery County Water Quality Coordinating Committee.
By winning the county taste test the Village of Fort Plain has qualified to move on to the
regional competition later this year.
Winners of the regional competition move on to the state championships held at the
New York State Fair.
In another year of very close voting the City of Amsterdam finished second and the
Village of St. Johnsville finished in third place.
